your
EXPERIENCE
01.
BEFORE YOUR WEDDING
We have collectively shot over a thousand weddings and that means we’ve seen it all! We’ve gathered ideas about awesome things couples do and ideas to make your day more photogenic and, more importantly, more enjoyable. After you book us, we mail you a sixty-page Wedding Guide full of photos, thoughts, and ideas as you plan your wedding. We want to pass the knowledge we’ve gained on to you, our couples!
We also send you a few key questionnaires that we’ve carefully crafted to gather pertinent info from you, ensuring that we know what’s most important to you, family dynamics, and a timeline to set you up for a relaxed (not rushed) day!

HOW WE WORK
Weddings aren’t random. It won’t be a happy accident for you to get photos like the ones you see on our website. We provide you with a consistent collection of photos – you won’t be left wondering. We have heard many times from couples who didn’t hire us that they ended up with horrible photos (think shots of disrupted messy reception tables instead of that moment your grandma kissed you on the cheek just after your ceremony). We don’t want that to be you! We use our extensive experience inventory to ensure you get coverage of all the details and moments that we can foresee after years of shooting. And we use our familiarity with weddings to also anticipate the fleeting moments unique to you throughout the most important (and most photographed) day of your lives!

ON THE WEDDING DAY
We want to tell the whole story of your wedding day, so we’ll photograph the last hour or so of getting ready through all the formal reception events and about thirty minutes of dancing (after that it gets messy and slightly incriminating!).
We approach the day with a photojournalistic style, letting it unfold naturally instead of orchestrating moments. And when it’s time for photos of you as a couple, your wedding party, and family, we’ll step in and give you lots of encouragement and prompts. We direct you. We don’t pose you. This way your portraits are just as candid as the rest of the day.
