Erin & Tom’s Colorado destination wedding was fun and flirty from start to finish. Despite the rain during the fifteen minutes the ceremony took place, spirits were up, and everyone had a wonderful time. Rain can sometimes mean a ruined day, but Erin and Tom knew it would probably rain and instead chose to enjoy the moments when the weather was good and the scenery was epic. And once it started raining, guests laughed at the circumstances, helped each other onto the porch, and enjoyed the spontaneous ceremony.
THere were so many favorite details and moments from the day. I especially loved that Erin wore Fendi oxfords! And when she came up behind Tom to see him for the first time, she literally leapt onto him with joy. Amber from Amber Events was Erin’s best friend and maid of honor. Not only did she run the day flawlessly, but was also able to be present in the festivities and enjoy the moment for her friend.
Erin and Tom are some of the most stunning and energy filled couples that I’ve gotten to work with. Their laughter, go with the flow, willingness to take risks, and overall attitude of joy and celebration were all infectious. We ran through flower fields, laughed through the rain, cried through the speeches at all the touching things others had to say about the couple. Their love is also infectious. And I had the best time photographing it. Erin & Tom, love you guys. Seriously. Wish you hadn’t moved away so we could hang out all the time. Thank you so much for trusting me so explicitly with your wedding photography. Enjoy!
